Word documents convert properly
A DOCX really contains its headings, lists, tables and images, so the output is genuine structured HTML. Edit the text and the page reflows like any web page.
Free browser-only tool
Drop in a Word document, a PDF or a scan. You get back a single self-contained HTML file — no scripts, no linked assets, nothing to load from the internet. It works from a USB stick.
There is no upload, no server, no account and no limit on how many you run. The conversion happens in your browser using your own machine, which is also why a big scan can take a moment. Close the tab and every trace of it is gone.
The converter
A Word document gives the best result by a wide margin, because the structure is really in the file. PDFs and images can only be reproduced as pictures with a text layer laid over them.
Converting
One file, no dependencies. Open it in any browser, email it, or keep it on a drive — it will still render in ten years.

What you get, honestly
A DOCX really contains its headings, lists, tables and images, so the output is genuine structured HTML. Edit the text and the page reflows like any web page.
A PDF has glyphs at coordinates, not paragraphs. Each page is reproduced exactly, with its real text positioned invisibly on top so it stays selectable and searchable.
An image has no text at all. The picture is exact, but every word in the text layer was guessed from pixels. You will see the confidence score before you download.
Where the seams are: for PDFs and images, editing the text
layer will not redraw the page image underneath it — the picture and the words are separate layers.
Fill-in fields are found by pattern ({{name}}, [Client],
______), which is good but not perfect. If you need a fully editable result, start from
the Word file.
